2011 Upper Deck Exquisite Football is a real late release, as it won't come out until August of 2011. In 2010, UD released Exquisite on March 31, 2011 - so the time schedule for 2012 was even later this time around. The preview images seen here - will all be autographed on-card by the player. While Upper Deck no longer has a license to produce NFL trading cards, the NCAA cards are very nice and for collectors who enjoy college football, they will probably like these cards. Boxes are very expensive, a 2010 box ran you about $500+ last year. I'd personally stick with singles if I were interested in buying cards from this set, but if you want to gamble then I can't blame you.

Jake Locker	One of the things about a set coming out after the season is already long gone - you have an idea what the rookies are all about in this set. It was a decent year for young WR's Julio Jones, A.J. Green, Torrey Smith and watch out for Jonathan Baldwin of Kansas City. The QB class will be interesting to watch over the next few years. Andy Dalton looks decent. Cam Newton could be a star. But there could be some busts from that group that also includes Christian Ponder, Blaine Gabbert and Jake Locker.

Information about the set will be updated when it becomes available. Typically, details on Exquisite sets get held back until the final hour. The Shadowbox and Dual Choice pull-out autographs were not on a final checklist provided to the public by Upper Deck. You'll want to take a peak at the 2010 UD Exquisite Football checklist - and that will give you a brief idea what you might find in the 2011 set. In '10 - Upper Deck actually put serial numbered 'rookie cards' of some of the players found in this 2011 set (Green, Newton, Locker etc.). Collectors will once again see that happen this year. The 2010 cards were #/99 and I remember the early sales on those came out hot. Look for a trade card for what is thought to be an Andrew Luck rookie.
