Why should collectors pursue National Treasures in 2010?
“Why? The answer seems obvious to me: It delivers the most value that you will get in a football product in 2010. We have a saying in the office when we see something that’s sweeter than we ever could’ve imagined. We say ‘It’s nectar.’ National Treasures absolutely is nectar.”
As a longtime collector yourself, what are you most looking forward to in the product?
“Probably the same thing most everyone else is looking forward to -- the jumbo-prime-piece, hard-signed rookies. They’re destined to be among the most coveted Rookie Cards of the season, and perhaps of all time.”
What new National Treasures developments are you most excited about in 2010?
“There are a couple of things. The first one that comes to mind is the five unique Pen Pals Octographs cards, each featuring eight on-card autographs from 2010’s top rookies. Those are amazing. But collectors are sure to covet the introduction of Combo NFL Shields and Combo NFL Brand Logos. I get excited about every product we make, but my anticipation level for 2010 National Treasures is off the charts.”

| The end of the NFL season means the expensive product comes out for Football - and National Treasures at $400 per box - is pretty expensive. The RC Patch (35 cards) will feature on-card autographs of a select number of NFL draft picks. They are serial numbered out of #/99 - but there will be different levels of parallel cards with NFL, Reebok and other prime patches. There will also be 100 autograph RC cards (no patches) so hopefully that checklist will include Joe Webb, Chris Ivory and other late round picks that emerged during the 2010 NFL season. |
