Considered one of the Angels (and baseball’s) best prospects since being drafted, Mike Trout played a few stints in the MLB before getting what seems to be his major call-up on April 28, 2012. Most people know that Mike Trout can hit the ball at a high level, but he also runs the bases well and can be an impact player once on-base.

Trout basically dominated the minor leagues, and will now have to prove himself to teammates and collectors in the major leagues. His 2009 Autograph cards are heavily collected, but collectors also search for his 2010-2011 cards as well. While some players values fall once they get their shot in the majors (Brandon Belt) … Trout has plenty of support in the Angels lineup and is expected to shine in the MLB. At the time of his call-up in late April 2012 the base 2009 Bowman Chrome Auto was selling for about $120. Parallel versions were selling for a few hundred or more. Many people have graded Trout’s cards by now and you can find copies from PSA and BGS in all different kinds of grades.

Keep in mind this is just a list of the main sets, for example Trout has refractor parallels in all the Bowman products – and you may want to hunt those down if you are trying to build a master set of all his cards. This list should help get you started with all the sets that have his cards.
