We’ve got some hot tips & some hot sets to talk about on today’s show.

On last weeks show we got some good tips for selling fixed price auctions and more from @DJSportsCards on twitter.

Panini Americana Heroes and Legends set features many Olympians and other athletes, presidents, astronauts and even war veterans.. It looks like Panini got a deal with the USA women’s soccer team and they have many other signatures and jersey cards in this set. You’ll also find other Olympians such as Mark Spitz and Greg Louganis. You’ll also find presidents like Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, George Bush, and even special Dwight D Eisenhower cut autographed cards. I think this set appeals to anyone that is a fan of the Olympics, especially women’s soccer and also military collectors. There are special military cards that have autographs of some of the people that fought in that war. You’ll also find astronaut cards including relics and autographs.

Panini Prestige basketball marks the second release from the 2012-13 season that is about to get underway in about a month. It is a very exciting time for Basketball collectors, this set has about 75 rookie autographs and 100 rookie cards within the set. Each box is going to cost you about $95 and you’re going to get 24 rookies and three autograph cards plus a memorabilia card. Once the NBA season starts and many of these players play key roles in their team success, I believe that it should be a very good season for basketball collectors.

2012-13 Panini Prestige Franchise Favorites #1 Kevin Durant

Also on today’s show I give some somewhat advanced advice to sellers that are trying to create ads or advertisements to drive customers to their website or store.

I see many people make the mistake of us of running ads where they send people to a homepage where the user has to navigate through a site they’ve never been on before. You need to make a specific offer or specific ad for each one of your products or promotions for the best results. The reason why most people don’t do this, is because it takes a lot of time to set up your ads and campaigns, however once you have this system down you will be giving the user clicks on your ad a much better experience. Examples of campaigns you can run to judge how well the ad is doing is by having a sign-up form or some other targeted purchase like a special sale or a contest to enter are good ways to know how well the ad is performing.
