| Donruss Elite Football is a brand that has been around since 1999! Talk about a long run in the football card market, and it tends to deliver a similar experience no matter what year you buy. The cards feature foil like stock, and tend to show fingerprints pretty easily, so you should try to handle the good cards carefully. The Passing The Torch Autograph sub-set has also been around since 1999, and in the past has been one of the best hits you can possibly get. Former sets had SP rookies, and this year will have a number of parallels, but I miss a certain group of players being SP ... I guess set collectors don't. This year has case hits (every 12 boxes) which are Throwback Threads book cards that have autographs and jersey pieces of top NFL players, or passing the torch dual signatures. |
