Wembanyama PSA 10 at $155: The Most Underpriced Star in the Hobby

Victor Wembanyama’s 2023-24 Panini Prizm PSA 10 base rookie sold for $155 on Thursday. Cooper Flagg’s 2025-26 Topps Chrome PSA 10 sold for $455 the day before. That’s a 3x gap between an established All-Star and a rookie four months into his NBA career.

The market has this backwards.

THE $300 QUESTION

Victor Wembanyama 2023 Panini Prizm PSA 10

$150

Cooper Flagg 2025 Topps Chrome PSA 10

$500

Why does the unproven rookie cost $350 more than the proven All-Star?
Pop count. But that won’t last.

THE NUMBERS

Wembanyama: 2023-24 Panini Prizm #136 PSA 10
Sold: $155 (Feb 27, 2026)
Pop count: 20,000+
2024 Rookie of the Year, 2025 All-Star

Flagg: 2025-26 Topps Chrome #251 PSA 10
Sold: $455.05 (Feb 26, 2026)
Pop count: 127
Current stats: 20.4 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 4.1 apg (Dallas Mavericks)

WHY THIS MATTERS

Wembanyama won Rookie of the Year in 2024. He made the All-Star team in 2025. He’s averaging 24 points, 10 rebounds, 3.8 blocks per game in his second season. He’s 7’4″ and shoots threes. He’s already proven he’s a generational talent.

Flagg is four months into his rookie season. He’s putting up solid numbers — 20.4 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 4.1 apg for Dallas — and he’s the betting favorite for Rookie of the Year. But he hasn’t made an All-Star team. He hasn’t proven he can sustain this for a full season, let alone multiple years.

The market is pricing Flagg’s potential at $300 more than Wembanyama’s proven performance.

The only argument for Flagg’s premium is scarcity. His PSA 10 pop is 127. Wembanyama’s is over 20,000.

That pop gap won’t last.

Flagg’s Topps Chrome base was released three months ago. The pop count was 89 six weeks ago. It’s 127 today. That’s 38 new PSA 10s in six weeks — a 43% increase. At this rate, the pop will cross 200 by April and 500 by summer.

Wembanyama’s Prizm has been out for two years. The grading wave has already passed. His pop is stable at 20K+.

When Flagg’s pop inevitably rises to match Wembanyama’s, the 3x price gap becomes indefensible. You’re either betting on rookie hype or you’re buying proven All-Star production at a discount.

THE CALL

The Wembanyama Prizm PSA 10 at $155 is the most underpriced established star card in the hobby right now.

If you’re choosing between Flagg speculation and Wembanyama value, the data favors the guy who’s already an All-Star.

Flagg could end up being better than Wembanyama. It’s possible. But right now, he’s four months into his career. Wembanyama is a proven All-Star with a Rookie of the Year trophy.

One is a bet. The other is a receipt.
