2011 Panini Prestige Football was the companies very first NFL trading card release of the new season. When Prestige came out, the NFL and it’s players were involved in a lockout which could have hampered Panini’s ability to obtain items like autographs and jerseys in this set. But Panini came through during the 2011 NFL Draft and got many of the top rookies that were selected that night to ink their name onto trading cards.
If you are real fortunate you can pull an Extra Points Black Autograph card that is serial numbered #/25 or less. Many big names have autographs in the insert parallel set including: Joe Flacco, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, DeSean Jackson, Percy Harvin and many others. Check out the complete checklist of 2011 Panini Prestige Football for a full list of all the cards available.
It should be pointed out that getting 40 cards for $4.99 is a real good deal compared to the regular packs that sell for $2.99 at retail. If you want to get some Prestige Football, I highly suggested buying a $4.99 Value Pack because it actually is true to it’s name – a real good value pack. We did okay in our pack break – getting a rookie card of #1 overall pick Cam Newton.
