Automated Grading Services
CEO: Alex Aleksandrovski
Our Grade: D-

There is a clear pattern of serial opportunism in Aleksandrovski’s career path.

He's pivoted through video game sales, professional poker (LOL), apparel, and pandemic-era medical supplies.

The entry into the grading space feels more like a tactical move than a long-term commitment.

This lack of focus is likely why AGS continues to struggle for legitimacy in a competitive market.

Fanatics Fest Demo

We saw the tech in action at Fanatics Fest. While the laser scanning is impressive, AGS has only really managed to make a dent in the Pokémon market.

It begs the question: Do collectors actually care about ‘objective’ AI grading, or are they just looking for a company that will hand them a 10 and boost their resale value?
