Case Hit Kings Acquires Forensic Card Grading, Launches Affordable Alternative to Major Grading Companies

Jared and Jacob West, owners of Case Hit Kings, have acquired Forensic Card Grading (FCG) effective January 2026, signaling a renewed push for collector-focused card grading services.

The Mansfield, Texas-based brothers built a national following through live-stream sales on Whatnot and an active card show presence. With the FCG acquisition, they’re positioning the company as an affordable alternative to established grading services.

What’s Changing

FCG is implementing immediate operational upgrades under new ownership:

  • 10-day average turnaround times – significantly faster than industry standards
  • Flat-rate pricing of $15 per card – no tier pricing or upcharges
  • Advanced variable-intensity/angle lighting systems for authentication
  • Multi-level magnification review and precision scopes
  • Full order-stage tracking visibility for submitters
  • Searchable online population database
  • Enhanced quality-control redundancies

The company emphasizes both technical precision and overall card presentation in its grading philosophy. Each card receives detailed magnification and variable-angle lighting review while considering how the card presents to collectors.

Market Positioning

“We see a tremendous opportunity to build the grading company collectors have been asking for,” said Jared West. “Our focus is straightforward: fast turnaround times, fair and consistent grading, affordable pricing, and complete transparency from submission to slab.”

The move comes as grading continues to consolidate at the top under Collectors Holdings. FCG is positioning itself as a disciplined, technology-driven alternative built on repeatable standards and operational integrity.

National Expansion Plans

FCG’s growth strategy includes:

  • On-site raw card reviews at select regional and national shows
  • Direct submission acceptance nationwide
  • Educational opportunities for collectors and dealers
  • Expanded hobby shop and dealer partnerships
  • Continued investment in grading technology and process innovation

Technological and operational improvements will roll out in structured phases throughout 2026.

FCG maintains an active community on Facebook for collectors interested in following the company’s development.
