Whatnot Breaker Defends Viral Clip Showing Him Cracking PSA Slab

A Whatnot seller is defending himself after Boston Card Hunter (Nick Andrews) and @lememe_james posted a viral clip showing him cracking open a PSA 10 Panini Prizm and telling the recipient they were getting a “damaged raw card.”

The video shows @yojackdylan breaking the protective case with his hands and removing the blue Prizm card while mocking the situation. The clip went viral across social media.

Neither Andrews nor @lememe_james reached out to the seller before posting.

Seller’s Response

In Instagram stories posted Sunday, the seller said the clips were taken out of context from comedic content on his stream.

“All I can say at this point I am sorry to anyone viewing these posts and seeing this unfold,” he wrote. “For these accounts to pull my ‘crash outs’ out of context is honestly just unfortunate. The things I do on stream for COMEDIC & ENTERTAINMENT value are nothing more than that.”

He claimed buyers have been compensated.

“Every buyer in the past has already been compensated, given plenty extra cards, and refunded for the apparent ‘horror’ I’ve caused.”

The seller defended his business record.

“People join my shows and support my business online because I know I provide a quality, curated selection of inventory. I provide a unique and engaging experience. And I am a trusted, reliable seller. If those things weren’t true, how could I possibly have built my business to this point?”

“Pulling ‘crash out’ clips out of context is an attack to try and derail my motion and career in this industry,” he wrote.

The seller said he would post a full apology video at 7 p.m. Sunday.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported me to this point. I am so grateful for everything and everyone. I know I will come to peace with this situation. I’m not seeking any rapid approval or forgiveness, just to hear me out and not be swayed by solely negative propaganda against my business and name.”

Pattern of Criticism

Nick Andrews (Boston Card Hunter)
Nick Andrews (Boston Card Hunter)

Nick Andrews has a working relationship with Fanatics and frequently targets Whatnot sellers and PSA grading in his content while promoting Fanatics-affiliated platforms.

The incident raises questions about posting potentially career-damaging clips without basic verification. A simple message to the seller could have provided context about whether this was comedy, a customer issue, or something else. Instead, the clip spread without that context.

The seller maintains it was part of his stream persona. Andrews and @lememe_james presented it as misconduct. Without context, viewers are left to decide for themselves.
