Fanatics Merging Live App Into Fanatics Collect, Adding Ship-to-Vault for Breaks
Fanatics is folding its Fanatics Live app into Fanatics Collect, consolidating its breaking, marketplace, and vault services into a single platform. The standalone Fanatics Live app will be phased out.
The move brings live card-breaking streams directly inside Fanatics Collect alongside the company’s existing marketplace and vault features. Collectors who currently use both apps will operate from one account and one wallet going forward.

The combined app introduces ship-to-vault functionality for breaks. Cards pulled during live breaks will go directly to a collector’s Fanatics Vault rather than being shipped to their home address. Once vaulted, cards are immediately available for trading, grading submission, or listing for sale on the Collect marketplace.
Fanatics is also moving Topps redemptions inside the app. When a collector redeems a Topps card, a digital version will appear in their Vault immediately, allowing them to sell or trade the card before the physical copy arrives. The physical card ships to the Vault at no additional storage cost once fulfilled.
The integration tightens the loop between pulling a card and monetizing it. Under the previous setup, cards from breaks shipped to collectors’ homes, requiring them to relist the card on a separate platform or submit it to a grading company independently. The vault-first model eliminates that lag.
The digital redemption feature is the more notable addition. Allowing collectors to trade on an unfulfilled Topps redemption effectively creates a secondary market for cards that haven’t been physically produced yet. Fanatics has not disclosed what protections will be in place if a redemption is delayed or unfulfilled.
Fanatics has not announced a specific shutdown date for the Fanatics Live app. The company launched Fanatics Live as a standalone platform in July 2023. Collectors currently using that app should expect a transition period before full integration is complete. Sports Card Radio maintains a Fanatics Live Breaker Leaderboard tracking activity on the platform.
