Triple Diamond Employee Charged with Theft of Cash and Inventory

A manager at Triple Diamond Sports Cards and Collectibles in Fargo, North Dakota, has been charged with felony theft after allegedly stealing nearly $30,000 in cash and inventory.

Jared Freese, 24, of Moorhead, was arrested on December 30, 2025, following a report from one of the store’s co-owners.

According to court documents and police reports, the theft occurred over a three-month period beginning in late September.

Investigators allege that Freese stole more than $2,500 in cash and approximately $5,000 in physical merchandise, including individual sports cards and sealed wax boxes.

The most significant portion of the loss—roughly $22,000—was attributed to “inventory adjustment” thefts discovered during a recent audit of the store’s records.

In total, the business reported a loss of $29,726.14.

Freese was booked into the Cass County Jail and was scheduled for arraignment on a single charge of felony theft. Triple Diamond Sports Cards remains open for business as the legal process moves forward.
