Sports Card Radio has obtained the full police report, which reveals new details about how Adams was caught—and raises potential legal questions about Cards HQ's investigation methods.

According to the police report filed on January 8, 2025, owner Carter Musgrave discovered that Adams was selling unopened boxes of trading cards on eBay.

Here's where it gets legally murky: The streaming room had one camera in an upper corner that captured desk activity but couldn't see underneath. After becoming suspicious, Musgrave installed a second camera under Adams' desk.

While the theft allegations appear clear-cut based on the video evidence, placing a camera under an employee's desk without their knowledge could create legal complications for Cards HQ.

Workplace surveillance laws vary by state, and Georgia has specific regulations about where and how employers can monitor employees. The legality of under-desk cameras—particularly when installed secretly—remains a gray area that could be challenged in court.

Adams was arrested on February 12, 2025, and released the next day on $10,000 bond. He maintains his innocence and has stated that other Cards HQ employees were written up for violations.

The case remains ongoing.
