Derek Fisher has a knack for hitting big shots at big times during his NBA career. His reputation around the league is one of a hard worker, and a tremendous teammate. It's hard to find another player in the history of the league that is as respected and as well liked as Fisher is.
His rookie cards are very affordable and can be had for less that a $1 most of the time. He is a fan favorite in L.A. and will always have fans even when he retires. Picking up a nice lot of Derek Fisher rookie cards wouldn't be a bad idea because he might get into coaching or broadcasting when his career is done. Fisher even said he wouldn't rule out a career in politics when his basketball days are over.
