Former NFL player Evan Mathis has been accused of trimming sports cards.
News of the scandal broke on the Blowout Forum website.

Mathis is accused of selling trimmed cards through eBay consignors PWCC Marketplace, Probstein123 and COMC.
Most card trimmers use PWCC, Probstein and COMC to sell their questionable inventory.
One of his old eBay accounts, cardquest12, has left buyer feedback for a paper trimmer dating back to 2017.

Several articles have been written about Mathis and his collection including:

Mathis has defended himself on a now deleted Reddit thread and posted a meme of O.J. Simpson "the glove doesn't fit" on Sports Card Radio's Facebook page.

Cards trimmed include this 1971 Topps Thurman Munson.
